Local Haunts.

2011, for me, will be a year of exploring my "local patch" more. Although I am planning a long overdue trip to the Dorset coast in January I think that I should do more closer to home. Not only for financial reasons, although the ever spiralling cost of petrol is a factor, but beacause I have dabbled in Sussex landscapes for 20 years. I have lived here all my life but it is only in the last few years that I have started to appreciate the beauty of my home county. I have picked these images, of Climping Beach and Burton Mill Pond, because to me they epitomise the Sussex landscape of my patch.

Lavington Common.

I've decided that I want to post more to my blog. I intend to do more landscape work next year and try to get back to my roots as a photographer. It's to easy to get involved in the day to day nitty gritty of print orders and admin, so I need to find time for more of the stuff I used to do. A kind of early New Year's resolution if you like. I took this back in the summer and it's becoming a personal favourite as well as being very in-keeping with my pledge to do more local landscape work. Also happens to be one of my favourite places in Sussex.

Continuing to be rubbish at the blogging thing I really must decide whether to carry it on or not. The trouble is I can't really find the time to keep it updated. Life is always hectic. Anyway here are a few favourites from the 1100 images I have passed onto Michelle and Jed from their wedding at Goodwood Hotel.

Sam & Pete's Wedding

Thought I'd post a few images from Sam & Pete's wedding at Ede's House in Chichester. A lovely venue and one I've had the privilege of working at on several occassions in the last couple of years.

It's been a while since I've updated my blog. I won't say that it's a New Years resolution to post more as I don't really make any. I believe resolutions are work in progress much like photography and life in general. The beauty of both is that I am constantly striving to do better at them. Here are a handful of recent wedding favourites.
