Hove

A couple of favourite shots from a recent wedding in Hove. We had planned to take beach shots but there was a strong wind blowing so we retreated to the hotel garden. I really enjoy using the Nikons these days, it's great to work in light levels that used to be impossible with film. Enables me to be much more creative as well. Mind you I've been shooting weddings digitally for nearly 3 years now, so much has changed in that time and definately for the better.

Ditchling Beacon

I've just finished shooting a commission for a book. I was asked to produce images of Ditchling Beacon in East Sussex, which was enjoyable and challenging. These are a few of my favourites from a place I now know well and will return to often.

Pembrokeshire

I love West Wales, it's so quiet and the coast is simply stunning, the perfect place to unwind. I grabbed a few days there recently and justed wandered with my camera. I've recently become more interested in macro photography since aquiring a Nikon 105mm. Seascapes will follow when I get time to process them. I am now fully into the wedding season and I am flat out until October.

Skomer

I've recently returned from Pembrokeshire and finally made it accross to Skomer Island to photograph puffins. A beautiful, tough little bird for which I have much respect after watching them run the gauntlet of the gulls. When they return to their burrows with sand eels for their chicks the gulls attack trying to make them drop the eels. A very memorable day, can't wait to go back next year.

I seem to be a very infrequent Blogger. There never seems to be enough time and truth be known I'd rather be out with the camera and enjoying the summer than in front of this PC. I've photographed some great weddings in the last few weeks and here are a few of my favourite images.
